I have over 18 years experience with Winamp plug-ins as well as having worked on Winamp natively on / off since 2007 until the last AOL release, I'm now back to being a 3rd party developer (coding without the corporate BS) and hope to do some of the things I used to do with Winamp to try to do something to keep it alive when it's current owners don't appear to care. This is a sister site of .uk which albeit a bit broken and needing some updating shows off a lot of the plug-ins that I've worked on over the years. So there's a plethora of ways to keep up-to-date on things from me as well as to get in contact if you want to :) You can also get involved at the forum or leave comments on the blog (as long as you're not a spammer! I'm also on Twitter along with the Facebook / Reddit pages and a Discord server for those into that sort of thing.

Windows 8.x isn't something I'm too keen on testing against as Windows 10 pretty much is the route to go. Note: Windows 7 and Windows 10 users would be the most helpful. Please Note: Requests to be a beta tester are processed in batches typically when new beta builds are released so please by patient of this process. There are additional methods for helping to support this project be it financially or otherwise.īefore WACUP is publicly released, it is planned to have a number of beta releases to ensure that things work correctly and do not cause any issues (especially with any of the new plug-ins being used to replace the native Winamp plug-ins). We recommend installing this WACUP Preview build into a seperate directory from your existing Winamp install until it is feature complete.
